Module 3: The SQL Language

  • Essential commands: Select, Insert, Update ...
  • Multi-table interrogation.
  • Communication structures (MsgBox, IntputBox)
  • Decision structures (If Then Else, Select Case)
  • Loop structures (For Next and For Each)

Module 4: Fundamentals of VBA Access Language

  • Variables, tests, loops, tables, procedures, functions, passing parameters, organization of modules.
  • Display of messages.
  • Development of a program.
  • Call of macros by the Docmd instruction.
  • Creation of SQL queries. Archiving of record modifications.
  • Creation of selection filters on a form.

Module 5: Using Properties

  • Creation of a secure data entry form: modification, creation, deletion of records
  • Viewing a photo in a form
  • Modify the properties of objects in reports

Module 6: Manipulating datasets

  • Data access modes (DAO, ADO)
  • Information on a database (tables, fields ...)
  • Create / Modify / Delete objects from a database
  • Manipulate record sets
  • Adding, deleting, modifying records
  • Primary index
  • Sorting, filtering, selection criteria, SQL queries
  • Optimizing action and selection requests
